scattered thoughts i had on the train:
six white princesses and one black one isn’t equal.
six white princesses and one asian one isn’t equal.
six white princesses and one arabic one isn’t equal.
etc. etc.
and the thing is that you can’t say that you didn’t pay attention to princesses and then say that it’s equal to distribution of poc in the world, because number one that’s not true, but then basically you’re just saying people of color don’t deserve more princesses and you don’t want to look at them.
cuz if you didn’t pay attention to the race of the princess why would you care if there were more princesses of color?
