Found a website yelling about the dangers of all sorts of “Satanic” things, ranging from things that are actually Satanic (e.g. the Church of Satan, the Temple of Set) to Dungeons and Dragons.

It is hysterically funny, even not taking into account the fact that most of the site is written in Comic Sans.

Oh my god, sir, the things I remember from my fundie background… Did you know that the Ninja Turtles were “demonic”? Or that Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck were secret lesbians? Or that Disney movies were trying to indoctrinate children into both atheism and paganism at the same time? Or that Sesame Street was trying to sexualize little children by depicting a wedding on the show?

I can LOL at these things now, but they were treated as deathly serious by the subculture in which I was raised. (And oh my god, the racism. Fundies expressed particular fear of voodoo and of “Eastern religions”, and even as a kid it wasn’t hard for me to guess why.)
